Vornado Duo Troubleshooting Guide
Many operating behaviors that may seem unusual at first are part of normal operation. Please review the information below before contacting Customer Support.
| PROBLEM | POSSIBLE CAUSE AND SOLUTION |

| Unit changes speed each time the power button is pressed. | This is normal. The product cycles through speed levels in a fixed order with each press. |
| Unit moves from high speed to lower speeds before turning off. | This is normal. The fan steps through available speeds before the next press turns the unit off. |
| Unit does not skip directly to off. | This is normal. The product follows its designed speed sequence one step at a time. |
| Speed changes one level at a time. | This is normal. Each press changes the fan by one step in the operating sequence. |
| Blue light changes when speed changes. | This is normal. The blue LED indicates the currently selected speed level. |
| Only one blue light is on at a time. | This is normal. Only the active speed setting is illuminated. |
| Blue light turns off when the fan is off. | This is normal. Indicator lights turn off when the product is powered off. |
| Fan pauses briefly between speeds. | This is normal. A short transition may occur while the product changes settings. |
| Buttons seem slow to respond. | Press the button firmly once and allow a moment for the unit to react. |
| Unit does not respond to controls. | Ensure the unit is plugged into a working outlet. |
| Unit will not operate normally. | Turn the unit off, unplug for 30 seconds, reconnect power, and restart. |
When to Contact Customer Support
Contact Customer Support if:
- Product does not turn on or off
- Speed levels do not change when button is pressed
- LED does not illuminate at any speed setting
- Product does not respond to controls
- You notice unusual odor, smoke, overheating, sparking, visible damage, or any safety concern
Helpful Tip
Press the control button once at a time and allow the fan to complete each speed change before pressing again.
