Vornado Axis 32 Troubleshooting Guide
Many operating behaviors that may seem unusual at first are part of normal operation. Please review the information below before contacting Customer Support.
| PROBLEM | POSSIBLE CAUSE AND SOLUTION |
|---|---|
| Unit starts on a mid-level speed when turned on. | This is normal. The product is designed to begin at a standard mid-level speed setting. |
| Unit returns to the last used speed after restart. | This is normal. The fan may remember the previous speed setting for convenience. |
| Speed changes one level at a time. | This is normal. Each press of the speed control increases or decreases speed step-by-step. |
| LED light stays on briefly after pressing a button. | This is normal. Indicator lights may remain illuminated briefly to confirm the most recent selection. |
| LED lights dim after a short time. | This is normal. Lights may gradually return to a dim state after interaction. |
| LED lights reset after turning the unit off and back on. | This is normal. Temporary button indicators clear when the fan is restarted. |
| Airflow or sound changes when speed is adjusted. | This is normal. Different speed levels naturally create changes in airflow and motor sound. |
| Buttons seem slow to respond. | Press controls firmly once and allow a moment for the unit to react. |
| Remote does not respond. | Move closer to the unit and point the remote directly toward the product. Complete pairing if required. |
| Lights flash during remote pairing. | This is normal. Flashing lights may indicate the unit is ready to pair with the remote. |
| Remote changes settings one step at a time. | This is normal. The remote mirrors the on-unit controls and changes settings step-by-step. |
| Unit does not respond to any inputs. | Turn the unit off, unplug for 30 seconds, reconnect power, and restart. |
