4T Troubleshooting Guide
Many operating behaviors that may seem unusual at first are part of normal operation. Please review the information below before contacting Customer Support.
| PROBLEM | POSSIBLE CAUSE AND SOLUTION |
|---|---|
| Unit powers on with previous settings. | This is normal. The product remembers the last used settings such as speed, movement, and lighting. Adjust settings as desired. |
| Unit takes a moment to start after pressing Power. | This is normal. A brief delay or light change may occur during startup. Allow a moment for the unit to begin operation. |
| Unit moves briefly after being unplugged or losing power. | This is normal. The product may reposition itself before returning to standard operation. |
| Fan speed changes one step at a time. | This is normal. Speed settings increase or decrease in steps rather than jumping from highest to lowest. Continue pressing the control to reach the desired level. |
| Airflow feels different between speed levels. | This is normal. Small airflow changes may be noticeable between certain settings. |
| Airflow pauses briefly when changing speed. | This is normal. The unit may briefly pause or stabilize airflow while adjusting to a new setting. |
| Unit is not oscillating. | Ensure oscillation has been turned on. Check that nothing is blocking movement. |
| Oscillation pauses, stops briefly, or reverses direction. | This is normal. The unit may pause, reverse, or reposition during operation as part of normal movement behavior. |
| Airflow continues but movement pauses. | This is normal. Airflow may continue while the unit adjusts movement, then resume oscillation automatically. |
| App changes do not happen immediately. | This is normal. There may be a short delay between app commands and product response. Allow a moment for settings to update. |
| Unit turns on or off without pressing a button. | Scheduled or automatic app settings may be active. Review app schedules or automation settings. |
| App will not control the unit. | Ensure the product is connected. If not connected, the unit can still be operated using on-product controls. |
| Status light changes color or blinks. | This is normal during startup, setup, or connection attempts. A solid light usually indicates normal operation. |
| Buttons seem slow or unresponsive. | This is normal. The unit may be completing a current action or briefly ignoring rapid repeated inputs. Wait a moment and try again. |
| Unit adjusts airflow on its own. | This may be normal if temperature-based or automatic operation is enabled. The product may gradually respond to room conditions. |
| Movement is interrupted by an object. | Remove the obstruction. The unit may reverse direction and continue operating automatically. |
| Unit will not operate normally. | Turn the unit off, unplug for 30 seconds, reconnect power, and restart. |
